Failed to get announce@apache to accept the release announcement

I did send the announcement from my astitcher@apache.org email address.
Does anyone know why this might have failed. It was bounced directly by
the MTA and didn't look like it went to a mailing list manager at all.

I'm not a member of the mailing list if that makes a difference.

I alos note that Qpid isn't mentioned on

Do we need to something to get mentioned there.
