This can be achieved with a combination of <restrict> and <archives> in Ant 1.8
and later.

<zip>
  ...
  <restrict>
    <archives>
      <zips>
        ... waht used to be inside your zipgroupfileset ...
      </zips>
    </archives>
    <not>
      <name name="META-INF/*.SF"/>
    </not>
  </restrict>
</zip>

and similar constructs.
