   Sorry for the late response.
   No I did not fix this issue. I'm planning to do it externally since I need the email to be send based on a trigger. 
   As for @bkyryliuk, I did set the driver as show above to firefox
   EMAIL_REPORTS_WEBDRIVER="firefox"
