[VOTE] Release of Shared 1.0.0-M2
Hi,
This is a vote for the second milestone release on our way to a Shared
and LDAP API 1.0. Lots of cleanup and artifacts reorganization.
Also bug fixes related to OSGI. Please see the release
notes below.
The SVN tag:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/directory/shared/tags/1.0.0-M2
The source and binary distribution packages:
http://people.apache.org/~pamarcelot/shared-1.0.0-M2/
The file names are prefixed with 'apache-ldap-api'. The bin packages
contain the shaded shared-all and all required dependencies to use the
LDAP API.
The staging repository:
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachedirectory-002/
The generated site:
http://directory.apache.org/shared/gen-docs/1.0.0-M2/

Rahhhh... A typical bug in the script that generates the md5. We already
experienced the problem many times.

Indeed, I was not aware a strongest key was now required. I done a dozen of releases with this key.
I will create a new key in the proper format for next releases.

PS: http://apache.org/dev/openpgp.html says that a strong 4096 bit RSA
key with SHA512 should be used to sign releases. IMO that's not a hard
requirement but should be considered for future releases.
