[jira] [Updated] (YUNIKORN-930) Break shim build dependency on core

Wilfred Spiegelenburg updated YUNIKORN-930:
-------------------------------------------
    Target Version: (was: 1.1.0)

> Break shim build dependency on core
> -----------------------------------
>
> Key: YUNIKORN-930
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-930
> Project: Apache YuniKorn
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Reporter: Manikandan R
> Assignee: Manikandan R
> Priority: Major
>
> Though one of the major goals is to break the shim dependency on core as part of build, there are some subtasks being created to cover from plugins perspective (as documented in design doc). But still there are few more places in shim which refers core (for example, entrypoint etc). Need to see if it is feasible to do this cleaner separation through common interfaces.
