Logging deps
Ug. Because Velocity no longer includes LogKit within the .jar file, this
makes it so that Fulcrum now has a runtime build dependency on having LogKit
available...even though Fulcrum itself never uses LogKit.
So, how about changing Velocity to default to the Log4J logger instead of
the LogKit logger so that I don't have to deal with these lame ass dep
issues?

Ugh. We seem to start moving into .JAR hell.
Can we please make this somehow configureable. Something like
logging=log4j
logging=logkit
logging=auto
comes to mind with "auto" being the automatic search.

LOL.
What I will do is imeplement and idea of jasons - velocity will first look
to use LogKit as the default logger as it does now- if it can't find it, it
will use log4j if it can find it.
That way, all you have to do is put log4j or logkit in the classpath, and it
will use what it finds....
Until then, can you just use the jar-dep target? It contains all...
