[jira] [Resolved] (SOLR-7836) Possible deadlock when closing refcounted index writers.

Yonik Seeley resolved SOLR-7836.
--------------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed

Not sure if there will even be a 5.3.1 release.
If there is, perhaps everything that was committed as part of this issue should go back? Would be nice to let it bake a while longer in 5x/trunk just to make sure that nothing else is broken.

> Preliminary patch for what looks like a possible race condition between writerFree and pauseWriter in DefaultSorlCoreState.
> Looking for comments and/or why I'm completely missing the boat.
