[log4j] Cassandra driver

Hi Matt (I think, since you may have the best knowledge on this one),

Did you know that trying the latest Cassandra jars cause the tests to fail?
It seems there is some mismatch with Netty versions and APIs coming and
going. Let me know if you can take a look.
