Reduced no of threads

All,

I'm using JMeter 2.4

Recently I'm facing a peculiar issue. Results are generated for 20
threads, If I execute for 30 threads. Similarly If I execute scripts for
60 threads, results are generated for 40 users.

I was going through the Jmeter.log and found following entries..

2011/11/28 22:49:33 ERROR - jmeter.threads.JMeterThread: Error while
processing sampler '201Hit URL' : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
protocol = http host = null

2011/11/28 22:48:38 ERROR - jmeter.threads.JMeterThread: Error while
processing sampler '232 Check Reset Enabled' :
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Host of origin may not be blank

How can I correct this behaviour?

Thanks & Regards,

Hey

Looks like your network limit is 20 threads or connections to server.

So if you fire 30 threads, only 20 fire while 10 fail.

If you fire 60 threads, first 20 fire, 10 fail (because first 20 are
making network connections), 20 fire (Since the 2nd set of threads
fail the next 20 fire), 10 fail (And then again the last 10 threads
would fail).

Check the network card setting or contact your network administrator
(It could be a server limitation also)
