New Xalan-J 2.7 release is coming

It has been a while since Xalan-J had its 2.6 release.

I'm pleased to announce that Xalan-J 2.7 has been approved by the Apache
Xalan PMC (Project Management Committee).

The tentative release date is Friday July 15, 2005.

The proposed new features in the 2.7 release are:
> JAXP 1.3 support
> XML 1.1 support
> serializer have a new API to allow setting the end-of-line-separator (
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XALANJ-2093 )

It is possible that other features may be added.  I will be putting the
release plans in CVS under xml-xalan/java as an html file with an
appropriate name.
