@neilcsmith-net https://builds.apache.org/job/netbeans-snap-release/ is triggered manually.
This PR shall be merged before and built by the standard Linux release job before the first triggering it.
I've created NETBEANS-2729 for myself on the co-exists issue. That shouldn't be that hard.
The snap release is pushing to the edge track of the netbeans snap. It has to be manually promoted to the stable track when the time comes. Though users can opt-in using a edge/beta version if you wish to publish it this way.
