INTAKE: GET RULES INTO VM-CONTEXT

Hi there,

I have the following problem:
I want to get the rules specified in intake.xml into a screen-class, and/or
access them from a velocity template. For instance:
I define a maxlength of a field in intake. Now I want to use the
html-maxlength directive in an input field. It would be fine, if I could get
the value of the maximum length directly from intake,
otherwhise in case of a change of the maxlength I had to change it twice,
once in intake,
and once in (input type="text " maxlength=...)

I would be verry happy if anyone could help me,
