I am having this problem again in Spark 1.3.1. This patch helped https://github.com/grzegorz-dubicki/spark-ec2/commit/56332c0879bd8d15af123b64cc0923dc80f7fdd1. Can anyone confirm this?

The config file contains a bunch of non-existent modules and this happens because we overwrite the default conf with our config file from spark-ec2.
