read-only installtion
Hi!
I'd like to setup maven on a network drive to make it available to many
users. Users only have read-only access to this drive.
Maven doesn't seem to support this kind of setup - the plugins
repository is modified whenever maven is started. Are there any ideas
(or plans to support) for read-only installations?

We support this feature in the CVS HEAD version.
You can checkout it or wait some weeks for beta 10 release.
