[jira] Updated: (DIRSERVER-110) Allow administrators to change and
set passwords for users
Alex Karasulu updated DIRSERVER-110:
------------------------------------
Fix Version/s: (was: 1.5.1)
1.5.2
Issue Type: Improvement (was: Bug)
This is not really a bug but an improvement to what already exists. Since we have to push 1.5.1 out I will change the issue type here and delay until 1.5.2.

> A user's password can only be changed by that user. With changepw an admin role should be able to change or set a password for a user, but this requires access control. The Change Password protocol needs to be updated to use ApacheDS ACI to allow admins to change or set passwords for users.
