Using repository.apache.org for staging PDFBox releases
Hi,
There's a Maven repository manager at https://repository.apache.org/
that can be used to streamline the release process and the way release
artifacts get synced to the central Maven repository. Essentially it's
a way to use standard Maven tooling to deploy release artifacts for
review, and then (once the release vote passes) deploy them to Maven
central by simply approving the staged repository.
Our build and release tooling is already well prepared to take
advantage of the repository manager, so unless anyone objects I'd like
to ask the infra team to set up release staging support also for
PDFBox.

[+1] Not sure I understand everything here, but the ability to download a
snapshot (.jar file) could really help people reporting on issues as
they'd be able to easily test using the latest code without having to set
up a project, getting all the dependencies, etc.
