[jira] [Created] (WICKET-6372) Consider to switch to a sans-serif typeface in the Wicket guide

Jan Krakora created WICKET-6372:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Consider to switch to a sans-serif typeface in the Wicket guide
                 Key: WICKET-6372
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-6372
             Project: Wicket
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: guide
    Affects Versions: 8.0.0-M5, 7.6.0
            Reporter: Jan Krakora
            Assignee: Andrea Del Bene
            Priority: Minor

I know this is a matter of opinion, but I think you should really consider to change typeface used in the Wicket guide to a sans-serif variation.

It looks cleaner and better. But most important - it's definitely more readable on the Web.

Verdana, Google's Open Sans or Roboto...these are very nice modern fonts.

Examples of very professional pages using a sans-serif typeface:
