[jira] Updated: (HADOOP-655) remove deprecations

Doug Cutting updated HADOOP-655:
--------------------------------

Summary: remove deprecations (was: remove 0.6 deprecations)
    Fix Version/s: 0.9.0
                       (was: 0.8.0)
         Due Date: 06/Nov/06
         Assignee: Doug Cutting
         Priority: Minor (was: Major)

It will be much easier to remove everything that's deprecated at the start of a release cycle. So I'll try to do this as soon as 0.8 is released, before the first 0.9.0 commit. That way folks who compile against 0.8.0 without deprecation warnings should be able to upgrade to 0.9.0.
