Problem when opening PDF file in the browser
Summary: Problem when opening PDF file in the browser
Product: Fop
Version: 0.15
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: general
AssignedTo: fop-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: eps961@free.fr
Hi,
I build PDFs from org.apache.fop.
A DHTML API allows users to view PDFs in there browers by clicking on a link.
Sure, these files have been put on the server.
My problem :
When I click on the link, a Acrobat Reader window is opened with the following
message : 'Le fichier ne commence pas par %PDF-' (The file doesn't begin with
%PDF- tag).
The file and the link work fine because when I click on the link and I choose
the 'save target as' option, I succeed to read the downloaded file from the
local host.
Local System : Windows 2000, Acrobat Reader 6.0.1, Internet Explorer 6.0 (update
SP1, Q837009, Q824145, Q828750) or Mozilla 1.5.
Can this problem come from FOP creation of the PDF ?
Thanks,
Stéphane Roger.
PS: this problem occured with the twice browser.
