Meanwhile it still suffers from this:

 Creating library .\CoreR\ApacheCore.lib and object .\CoreR\ApacheCore.exp
 LINK : warning LNK4098: defaultlib "LIBC" conflicts with use of other libs; use /NODEFAULTLIB:library

(A good example of the kind of errors we were getting in my shop
 before we gave up on letting the IDE keep the master copy).
