> With Maven 4, a lot has changed in how a user can select which modules in a project to build. We should update the [Guide to Working with Multiple Modules|https://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-multiple-modules.html] to describe the new behaviour that is introduced in Maven 4:
> * {{-pl / --projects}} accepts both required and optional projects. It accepts "selectors" (folder name, {{:artifactId}}, {{groupId:artifactId}}) as well as qualifiers ({{!}}, {{?}}, {{+}}, {{\-}}).
