has anybody kept tabs on DVSL? I tried running it to generate the
velocity-tools docs using a recent velocity-1.5-dev build, and it
happily generated empty files, with no error messages or warnings. :(
i also tried running it with the latest dom4j (1.6.1) and that threw a
NoClassDefFoundError. it works fine with Velocity 1.4 and dom4j 1.1.
i'm not sure what change in Velocity caused the problem, but if
Velocity 1.5 is supposed to be a drop in replacement for 1.4, someone
might want to look into this.

i would, but it's going to be all i can do to get a VelocityTools 1.2
release out. i just got hit with a big new project at work.

I've never worked with DVSL but I guess I'm about to. Can you please file a
bug report for Velocity 1.5 ("incompatible with DVSL"). We should resolve
this before 1.5-beta.

Thanks,

WILL
