Endpoint ServiceEndpoint[service={urn:fibonacci}FibonacciService,endpoint=FibonacciClient] has a service description, but no matching endpoint found in [fibonacci]

Hi,

I have developed and deployed external web service in Axis1.4 using Tomcat.
By giving following external web service location
(http://localhost:8080/axis/services/fibonacci?wsdl) in browser I am able to
see the generated wsdl file.

My requirement is to write a client in servicemix and call a method in
external web service and get response from it.I have followed following
steps..

1.I have created service unit (cxf-se) and placed the fib.wsdl(external
webservice wsdl) under (main\src\resource) and generated the client stubs
required to call the external webservice from service mix.

2. I have written following client program in cxf-se service unit to call
this external web service.Its under (main\src\java)

package org.apache.servicemix.samples.webservice;
import org.apache.servicemix.samples.fibonacci.*;

import java.io.File;
import java.net.URL;
import javax.xml.namespace.QName;
import javax.xml.ws.Service;
import org.apache.commons.logging.Log;
import org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory;

public class FibonacciClient{

private static final Log log = LogFactory.getLog(FibonacciClient.class);

public static void main(String args[])
  {
    log.info("inside Fuse Fibonacci Client Program");
    QName serviceName = new QName("urn:fibonacci", "FibonacciService");
    Service s = Service.create(serviceName);

    QName portName = new QName("urn:fibonacci", "fibonacci");
    s.addPort(portName, "http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/",
"http://localhost:8080/axis/services/fibonacci");

    Fibonacci proxy = s.getPort(portName, Fibonacci.class);

    //Quote quote = proxy.calculateFibonacci(3);
    log.debug("Calculated Fibonacci in
Client--->"+proxy.calculateFibonacci(3));
  }
}

3. My xbean.xml of service unit(cxf-se) has following entries

<beans xmlns:cxfse="http://servicemix.apache.org/cxfse/1.0">

<cxfse:endpoint>
<cxfse:pojo>
<bean class="org.apache.servicemix.samples.webservice.FibonacciClient">
</bean>
 </cxfse:pojo>
 </cxfse:endpoint>

</beans>

4. I have created service unit binding component(cxf-bc) .I have placed
fib.wsdl(external web service wsdl) under (main\src\resource).

5.My xbean.xml entry in binding component sevice unit is :

<beans xmlns:cxfbc="http://servicemix.apache.org/cxfbc/1.0"
       xmlns:fib="urn:fibonacci">
<cxfbc:provider service="fib:FibonacciService" wsdl="classpath:fib.wsdl"
endpoint="FibonacciClient" interfaceName="fib:Fibonacci">
</cxfbc:provider>
</beans>

6. After this I created service assembly and successfully able to deploy it
in service mix.

7. In service mix i got the following trace::

Jul 15, 2008 11:34:55 AM
org.apache.cxf.service.factory.ReflectionServiceFactoryBean

*)Can you help me in resolving this?

*)Whether the steps followed for calling external web service from service
mix client is correct?

*) How can I test in service mix whether the method of external web service
is returning proper value? I mean how to perform the test?

Its urgent please help me in resolving this..

Re: Endpoint ServiceEndpoint[service={urn:fibonacci}FibonacciService,endpoint=FibonacciClient] has a service description, but no matching endpoint found in [fibonacci]

Posted by jayasreeb <ja...@infosys.com>.
Hi,

Please correct me if my understanding is correct..

1)My xbean.xml entry of binding component service unit(cxf-bc) should look
like provider.xml entry.

2)My xbean.xml entry of Service engine service unit(cxf-se) should look like
entry in following path

http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx3/branches/servicemix-3.2/deployables/bindingcomponents/servicemix-cxf-bc/src/test/resources/org/apache/servicemix/cxfbc/provider/xbean.xml

3) Does testProvider() method of CxfBcProviderTest method is sufficient to
invoke and get response from External service?

4)Can I place this Client Class under src\main\java of cxf-se service unit?

5)CxfBcProviderTest is refferring to following imports.Could you please give
me the location so that I can check this..

import org.apache.cxf.calculator.CalculatorImpl;
import org.apache.cxf.calculator.CalculatorPortType;
import org.apache.hello_world_soap_http.Greeter;
import org.apache.hello_world_soap_http.GreeterImpl;

6) Actually I have generated the client stubs from the external web service
url(http://localhost:8080/axis/services/fibonacci?wsdl) and placed the
generated client stubs under (src\main\java) folder. Do we need this when we
are invoking external web service based on example given in
CxfBcProviderTest ?

7)I have also placed the external web service wsdl file(fib.wsdl) under
(src\main\resource). Is it required in this case?

Kindly help me in this.

Yes

please see this provider.xml as an example loaded by the code in the
test this file shows that how you should configure the cxf bc provider

    protected AbstractXmlApplicationContext createBeanFactory() {
        return new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("org/apache/servicemix/cxfbc/provider.xml");
    }

you can find this file from
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx3/branches/servicemix-3.2/deployables/bindingcomponents/servicemix-cxf-bc/src/test/resources/org/apache/servicemix/cxfbc/provider.xml

And also
the file loaded by the code,

protected String getServiceUnitPath(String name) {
        URL url = getClass().getClassLoader().getResource("org/apache/servicemix/cxfbc/" + name + "/xbean.xml");
        File path = new File(url.getFile());
        path = path.getParentFile();
        return path.getAbsolutePath();
    }

this file shows that how you should configure the cxf se pojo with proxy
injected, you can find this file from
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx3/branches/servicemix-3.2/deployables/bindingcomponents/servicemix-cxf-bc/src/test/resources/org/apache/servicemix/cxfbc/provider/xbean.xml

Re: Endpoint ServiceEndpoint[service={urn:fibonacci}FibonacciService,endpoint=FibonacciClient] has a service description, but no matching endpoint found in [fibonacci]

Posted by jayasreeb <ja...@infosys.com>.
Hi,

I should also get reponse from external web service to cxf bc provider and
to cxf se..(i.e)
cxf se <==> cxf bc provider <===> your external web service

Does this example covers this scenario?

I have gone through the example..I couldnt figure it out....
How can I make out about the entries which I need to give in xbean from this
java class?

How a client java class can be written which calls external web service?

Pls help in this

Re: Endpoint ServiceEndpoint[service={urn:fibonacci}FibonacciService,endpoint=FibonacciClient] has a service description, but no matching endpoint found in [fibonacci]

Hi,
The way to do it should be
client proxy in cxf se==> cxf bc provider===> your external web service
Actually we have a CxfBcProviderTest[1] which is exactly same as your
scenario, you could get infos how to write the xbean.xml for both cxf se
and cxf bc and how to test the invocation back and forth.
