Was there any Logging API for MIDP ?

Hi All,

Can any one tell me about how to log in Mobile
InformationDevice Profile (MIDP).  I tried with log4j
but log4j is not supported by MIDP.  Its giving a
preverifier error.  I tried with java.util.logging
also, but for that too it has some problems.  

Can any one in the group throw me some pointers for
logging In MIDP or any existing API's for logging in
MIDP.
