[Issue 126820] New: tranfer of 4.0 impress files to another computer created "needs repair" issue

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126820

          Issue ID: 126820
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: tranfer of 4.0 impress files to another computer
                    created "needs repair" issue
           Product: Impress
           Version: 4.0.0
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: P5 (lowest)
         Component: open-import
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: bvgraph@gmail.com

I uploaded files to my client. She wrote back that elements were falling off
the slides and her program told her to "repair." The repair totally destroyed
what had looked like a perfectly good set of slide designs.

How did you "upload files to (In reply to Susan Brown from comment #0)

How did you upload the files? Are they in a place where you can retrieve them
and see if they are damaged? For example, compare them to the originals you
have.

We need to rule out damage to the files in-transit before treating this as a
problem of AOO itself.

Next: Exactly what software did your client use to read the .odp Impress files?
