[jira] [Commented] (HUDI-2151) Make performant out-of-box configs

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HUDI-2151?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17436219#comment-17436219 ]

Prashant Wason commented on HUDI-2151:
--------------------------------------

>> Is file listing parallelism too high?

In my testing, 256 works as good even for a 1000 partition table. But totally depends on the NameNode (which we use) or the Cloud Store listing performance.

> We have quite a few configs which deliver better performance or usability, but guarded by flags.
>  This is to identify them, change them, test (functionally, perf) and make them default
>
> Need to ensure we also capture all the backwards compatibility issues that can arise
