[jira] [Created] (FELIX-5909) [Converter] Version number contains timestamp

David Leangen created FELIX-5909:
------------------------------------

Summary: [Converter] Version number contains timestamp
                 Key: FELIX-5909
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-5909
             Project: Felix
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Converter
            Reporter: David Leangen
            Assignee: David Bosschaert

Hi [~bosschaert],

The maven release of Converter has the version numberĀ "1.0.0.201802012108". It is my understanding that a release should be "1.0.0" without the timestamp.

My Nexus repository thinks that this is a Snapshot because it includes the timestamp.

Would it be possible to do a release with only "1.0.0"?
