[jira] Commented: (DERBY-1993) Check in the demo used by the Java in the Database session at Apachecon 2006

Rick Hillegas commented on DERBY-1993:
--------------------------------------

Can you recommend a namespace that's OK? It seems like we need a namespace which belongs to Apache but not to Derby. That is, one which begins with org.apache but not with org.apache.derby. At first blush, this would seem to mean some negotiation with the larger Apache community in order to reserve another branch of org.apache for our demos.

> My session at Apachecon 2006 (Austin) included a demo, showing how to use user-coded Java functions and procedures inside the Derby engine. I would like to check this demo into the Derby demo directory.
