[jira] [Commented] (QPID-8013) [Broker-J] Reduce footprint of AMQP 1.0 protocol objects

Keith Wall commented on QPID-8013:
----------------------------------

In addition, the choice of {{AtomicLong}} for the replacement statistics on AbstractAMQPConnection may have been a poor choice (see http://normanmaurer.me/blog/2013/10/28/Lesser-known-concurrent-classes-Part-1/)

> Comparing the footprints of AMQP 1.0 protocol objects with the older protocols shows that the 1.0 counterparts are larger. Some tuning would be beneficial. For instance, the {{_sendingSessions}} and {{_receivingSessions}} arrays are channel max sized, even if the client never uses that many sessions.
