Log4J Bug# 4861

Was there any resolution to this bug?

We are having a similar problem, where Log4J stops writing the 
DailyRollingAppender file.  However, we are using a RollingAppender file on 
the same category, and it continues!  Has anyone run into this scenario?  It 
seems to occur after a random amount of time, and we have been unable to 
reproduce this on demand.

Any help would be appreciated.
