Gin-Ting Chen commented on SUREFIRE-614:
----------------------------------------

I like this feature request. It could really help enforce good testing habits. It would also help you see areas in your code where you may have accidentally introduced some type of order dependency

> Run tests in random order

> URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SUREFIRE-614
> Project: Maven Surefire
> Issue Type: Improvement

> By definition all tests should be completely self-contained. However, some developers fail to write proper tests and this can be forced if surefire would run the tests in arbitrary order. This is in contrast to SUREFIRE-321, so it should be configurable if the test sould be run in native, random or alphabetical order.
