[jira] Commented: (AVRO-214) Add feature matrix to documentation detailing the state of implementation of the spec for each language implementation

Doug Cutting commented on AVRO-214:
-----------------------------------

To be concrete, I suggest:
- add to the top-level documentation page (http://hadoop.apache.org/avro/docs/current/) as list of those implementations that we believe completely implement the spec, and which do not; and
- add a separate page with a table indicating which implementations implement which features of the spec.

> As Avro matures and more languages implement the specification, it will be useful to have a table documenting which languages have implemented which components of the specification. The documentation should be informal at first, but eventually we could block changes to the spec until a certain number of "first-class" implementations implement the new feature.
