   With non-standalone examples it is harder for the end users to take them as a base for their real world projects. 
   And it is also harder for us to see what obstacles the end users encounter when they go standalone. 
   
   I'd like to write a tool for keeping the versions in sync. It is not hard as long as the version names are the same as in Camel Quarkus.
   
   > IMO we should follow whatever pattern is used elsewhere in the camel ecosystem for example projects.
   
   I'd vote for improving existing practices as much as possible.
