File Management App - Questions

Hi List...

We're in need of a File Manager app to handle our project. We've looked at a
bunch of apps, and are now leaning in the direction that we might need our
own app...

We've started creating a top level list of "requirements" (menu items) for
the "app" and are wondering if we might find a few guys here, who'd be
willing to look over the list, and to add your $0.02!

We need a web-based app that allows us to manage a great deal of scripts
that drive a web crawler. Each script has to go through a basic kind of
workflow, so we know at all times what scripts/files are being dealt with
(by user), as well as the phase/status of the file.. There are other issues
as well.

If we can get a few people to agree to peruse the list, and to add their
issues/thoughts/comments, we'd greatly appreciate it, and can send what we
currently have off-list.

Thanks

mark

svn would be the underlying repository...

but more to the point.. some users of a vcs, also use a gui File Management
app, and would perhaps have opinions/thoughts and be willing to add their
$0.02 cents to the conversation...

thanks

How would this app be related to Subversion?
