[jira] Created: (SLING-1020) Add some methods from JcrResourceUtil
to ResourceUtil
Add some methods from JcrResourceUtil to ResourceUtil
-----------------------------------------------------
Key: SLING-1020
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-1020
Project: Sling
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: API, JCR Resource
Affects Versions: API 2.0.4, JCR Resource 2.0.4
Reporter: Carsten Ziegeler
Assignee: Carsten Ziegeler
Fix For: API 2.0.6, JCR Resource 2.0.6
The getResourceSuperType, resourceTypeToPath methods in the JcrResourceUtil are of general interest and not tied to jcr; for example the script resolution makes use of them. We should move them to the API ResourceUtil, let the old methods invoke the new ones and deprecate them
