Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPECLIPSE-65
Summary: Make it possible to skipp the adding of 'con' classpath entry org.eclipse.jdt.launching.JRE_CONTAINER
       Type: New Feature

     Status: Unassigned
   Priority: Major

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-eclipse-plugin
   Versions:
             1.9

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Nils-Helge Garli

    Created: Thu, 13 Jan 2005 7:58 AM
    Updated: Thu, 13 Jan 2005 7:58 AM
Environment: WSAD 5.1.2, maven 1.0.2

Description:
It would be nice if it was possible to skip the 'con' classpath entry org.eclipse.jdt.launching.JRE_CONTAINER. For instance, when using WSAD, we typically use a different 'con' classpath entry for the Websphere JRE container instead. Today, I do this by adding it to the maven.eclipse.conclasspath property in project.properties, but this results in duplicate JRE system libraries.
