Unsubscribing (please do not send to the list)

Hi folks:

I'm just finishing up a welcome message, but as you've likely figured out by
now, this is the new development list for the Axis project at Apache, which
encompasses Axis2, Rampart, Sandesha, Kandula, Savan, and the Axis2 transports.

IF YOU WANT TO UNSUBSCRIBE FOR ANY REASON...

1) We're sorry to see you go, but please don't mail the whole list

2) Just send mail to "java-dev-unsubscribe@axis.apache.org" and our automated
system will take care of this for you.

Expect that welcome message in a few.

Thanks,
--Glen

It's a good idea - I'll ask if we can get a filter like that turned on for
the lists.

I've also asked infra to switch on the automatically generated footer (that
contains unsubscription information) for each message. Hopefully that
should
help as well.

Well, I know I can filter out them using my mail client, I was just
suggesting a real solution for the mailing list.

If you are using Gmail you can create a filter and keep all of the
"unsubscribe" emails out of your inbox.

Isn't there any way to filter out all of those e-mails with just
"unsubscribe" in the subject, by returning the sender an error message
with instructions on how to correctly unsubcribe?
