Are more detailed checklist notes available?
Hi Rick,
A challenge for me when looking at https://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/TenThirteenOneChecklist
is that I don't actually know how to do many of those tasks.
Do you know if there are more detailed writeups available elsewhere
in the Derby wiki, or perhaps in some other part of our knowledge
base (JIRA items?).
If there are, I'd be glad to (a) work on improving the checklist
template so that it contains links to more detailed instructions,
and (b) try to do some of those other tests.
I'd certainly like to know how to run some of those tests, so that
would be great.
OTOH, if we don't have adequate community knowledge of how to run
some of those tests, then I suggest we should probably remove them
from our checklist, because otherwise they're just confusing.
thanks,
bryan

Hi Bryan,
I'm not aware of a more detailed description of the checklist items.
Creating an explanatory wiki page sounds like a good idea. I suspect
that the experts on the mysterious tests are the committers who
volunteered for those tasks in previous releases. See, for instance,
http://wiki.apache.org/db-derby/TenTenOneChecklist I recommend pinging
those committers.
Thanks,
-Rick
