Best branch to start with?

Hi Folks,

I"m a developer just getting started with Nutch. I am tasked with creating a 
public deployment of Nutch and have been allotted time to contribute as 
well. I have joined both the dev and user's mail lists and have been going 
through the archives as well as the latest code from Subversion.

So..... where do I start? In a previous message Doug mentioned that the 
mapred branch is the one with the latest ndfs code in it. Which branch is 
the most current?

It appears that the crawl and mapred directories are replacing the mapReduce 
directory.

Trying to make sense of all this, any suggestions are appreciated!
