The board has agreed to create the Sling project.
To aid in the process, would the Infrastructure team please do the following:

Create unix group "sling"
Create new DNS entry "sling.apache.org" and configure into website server instance

[1] Mailing List (i) addresses
Please migrate the existing archives, subscribers to the following lists:
dev@sling.apache.org from sling-dev@incubator.apache.org
private@sling.apache.org from sling-private@incubator.apache.org
commits@sling.apache.org from sling-commits@incubator.apache.org
Please set bdelacretaz and fmeschbe as moderators of the lists.
Initial mailing list :
(iii) archives: please provide for merged archives for: sling-dev@incubator merged with dev@sling; sling-commits@incubator merged with commits@sling; and sling-private@incubator merged with private@sling.

OK, we completed tasks 2-7. Root (or apmail) help is needed for tasks 0 and 1. Note that there is already a site checkout at /www/sling.apache.org that should be mapped to http://sling.apache.org/.
