Sorry Chris, as one Ninja to another, Bayes is your (well, my) friend.

I'll agree that with SA and network tests and SARE, we hit 98%. With
Bayes added to the mix we get 99.5%.  1.5% of 300,000 emails a week =
an additional 4500 spam identified.
