While working on HBASE-28832, we noticed that some UI-related patches were not merged to branch-2.5, branch-2.6 or branch-2 which makes it harder to backport HBASE-28832 changes.

It was suggested to identify specific JIRAs that need to be backported. Reason: it's better/easier to do that work than to maintain and enhance divergence between the branches.
