MessageResources through EJB's instead of OJB..
I am trying to rewrite the OJBMessageResources Example, but need some help as I do not know/understand OJB at all.
Has anyone ever created an EJB version of this?
I want to be able to create a single MessageResource at start up. Currently I think that the MessageResource is a hash and is created at start-up so there is no need to make subsequent calls to a file, or DB in my case.
But it seems that OBJ is going to the DB each time, or OJB is caching the data.
Is there a way around this? This will be a massive performance hit on EJB.

No, not yet. It wouldn't be too difficult to do though.

That's correct

Yes, it is caching (by default configuration).

I wrote the OJBMessageResources Implementation that is available on sf.net.
I decided to go with OJB (first) to take advantage of everything (ok, almost
everything) OJB has to offer.
