Maven & Dumbster problems

Has anyone managed to get maven and dumbster to work together?

I currently have a project which the unit test run fine (using eclipse
and ant) but when i run the same tests using maven it cannot find the
fake smpt server started by dumbster.

Anyone have any ideas?
