fop and jimi embedded
Hi,
I'm using fop and jimi in a web app, and am getting the following error
when I try to include a PNG in a PDF:
[ERROR] Could not load external SVG: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8
sequence.
[ERROR] Error while creating area : No ImageReader for this type of
image (file:/C:/temp/est/temp/export_04282005_105908/pngtest.png)
I'm not sure why something (batik?) thinks that there is an SVG around.
I think the second error indicates that fop isn't finding jimi.
I have jimi-1.0.jar in the classpath. The fop documentation seems to
indicate that this isn't good enough:
"If jimi-1.0.jar is installed in the right place, it will automatically
be used by FOP, otherwise it will not."
What is 'the right place' in the context of a web app in a war file?
Thanks,
Tom

My fault -- it was a bad PNG!
