   I'm not a couch-db expert, but https://github.com/apache/openwhisk-deploy-kube/blob/master/helm/openwhisk/configMapFiles/initCouchDB/initdb.sh#L56-#L58 puts the cluster into "single node" mode.  Suspect this could interact badly with a 3 node couchdb cluster.
