Consulting Letter
Hi,Development Team:
I have a question about the configuration file in Prometheus fetcher.Currently I want to pull some metrics for the middleware, but some of the middleware is deployed in container，once the POD is restarted, the IP will change,At this point, the TARGETS I configured in configuration file will lose efficacy.Is there any plan to develop the function of dynamically obtaining HOST information and replacing it in configuration file?

I think with the fetching mode, the key is, whether you could have all
hostnames (every pod) once for all.
In the future, I think @高洪涛@skywalking <ha...@apache.org> mentioned, we
are going to provide a k8s-adopted target lookup mechanism, but I think it
is not there yet.

Prometheus fetcher is not sensitive about you are going to use HOST(domain
name) or IP.
You should be able to set the TARGET by using HOST names.
