Dave Johnson resolved ROL-897.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

This must have been fixed log ago. Invalid URLs do not get dropped from the media-cast field any more.

> While fixing ROL-852, I noticed this more serious issue that the MediaCast URL value gets dropped if it is determined to be invalid or we can't get the content-type/content-length information for it.
> I think this was written in this way to avoid saving an invalid url, and limitations of the current weblog entry editor. It's quite unfriendly to users.
> We need either to be able to enhance the entry editor to deal with the possibility of having to repopulate the form with the original data (without saving it) or to have it save the data in an invalid state in draft form, but only allow it to be published if validation checks succeed.
