LSD problems.

Pages haven't been updated this weekend, so I try a manually run and I get
this. I'm not sure if it is coincidental, or a disk space issue [kinda
likely w/ /data @ 98%], or something else.

Ought I remove some of the old jars from the repository on there? Any other
thoughts?

regards,

Adam

yep. Last night's run seems to have worked. I can imagine the mv command
corrupting a few files though. If we see weird encoding errors, we
probably need to check out some cvs trees again.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I changed the nice level of the gump run to 15.

I've updated the lsd.xml workspace to point to data3. Has /gump been aliased
to /data3/gump/log?

Other than that, nothing comes to mind.

things should be operational again. Gump has moved to /data3/gump,
Adam's crontab has been updated. Maybe some scripts need updating too?

Maybe it is time to get you comfortable with Gumpy, Stefan. If we can't
migrate somebody with your knowledge Gumpy can't work for other folks. We
can do this w/o too much of your time (I'd hope) and as a way to better
document & improve installation/configuration.

I assume you'd want to run Gumpy there.

Otherwise, I do have an (unprivileged) account on moof as well and
could help setting up a "traditional" Gump.

I have root access to moof.apache.org which is sitting there doing
nothing and waiting for a nice soul of ours to do the job of installing
gump overthere :-)

The decidated IBM boxes are on their way, but nobody can estimate when
they will arrive, even worse when they would be operational.

So, for the time being, I think moof.apache.org should be the right choice.

If you need accounts, send me your public key privately.

Thanks.

I've taken the machine down for maintainance. Among other things I'm
allocating a dedicated 15GB partition or so, on a seperate disk,
exclusively to gump + whatever other ASF stuff is on the machine
(currently just a few backups of some misc. things around 200mb in size).

On a related note, gump builds seem to be taking longer and longer. This
is apparently due to increased popularity and increased functionality.
It also seems to be due to increased popularity of some of the other
things available on the machine (like two of my flatmates trying out
openoffice over X11 connections, simultaneously).

Basically, it would be real nice to have a dedicated box :D
