Votes were as follows (* indicates PMC member):
+1 Doug Cutting (*)
+1 J Aaron Farr (*)
+1 Jean-Frederic Clere
+1 Niclas Hedhman (*)
+1 Leo Simons (*)
+1 Mladen Turk
+1 Jim Jagielski (*)
+1 Sanjiva Weerawarana (*)
+1 Bertrand Delacretaz (*)
+1 Robert Burrell Donkin (*)
+1 Brian McCallister (*)
+1 Nick Kew
+1 Upayavira (*)
With 13 +1 votes, no -1 votes and ample PMC representation, this passes.
I will now work with the contributors, champions and infrastructure to
help bring this project into the Incubator.

I've created a JIRA issue to track the induction of Traffic Server into
the Incubator.

Wait a little while, and after the mentors have set things up, there'll
be a mailing list (trafficserver-dev@incubator.apache.org or some such).
That'll be the place to go.

Welcome to Apache.
We operate with a meritocratic system, where people who show up at the
development mailing list with patches for code and/or documentation
will be noticed and invited to join the project. How much "effort" is
needed, depends largely on maturity of project and the subjective
opinion of the project's community member. The barrier for podlings
under incubation should be fairly low.
If you have contributed sigificantly in the past, and that the current
community acknowledges that, your entry should be swift.
Cheers

Hopefully someone reading could answer this. Where's the first port of
call in offering to help out with this/be a contributor? I previously
worked at Inktomi on Traffic Server (some years ago though now), and
so know what the internals used to work like and basic underlying
ideas, configuration/deployment, trouble shooting etc. I've also been
around the block on the open source world (though not in the apache
world), so though maybe new to this particular process, not new to
this in general.
